Modern Bertilo wood storage covered in HPL façade panels

Bertilo wood storage in a modern design

Modern and elegant wood storage is a great way to keep your firewood well-organized and dry. This wood storage is a light and sleek structure covered in weatherproof HPL panels. You can have about 1.5 m³ firewood in the wood storage. The modern façade panels are colour-stable, meet the highest quality requirements, and require almost no care or maintenance. The wood storage has no back wall, but a wooden batten across the back reinforces the structure. The Bertilo wood storage is made in the EU and has a modern design using the best materials. The frame is prefabricated and tested visually and technically before being packed and shipped. You receive a complete set with all the parts for the frame in Nordic spruce, the cut, pre-drilled HPL panels, and EPDM strips as an intermediate layer. The Trespa Duo-colour panels are designed in two colours, and you can use the side you prefer colour-wise.

Wood storage for keeping the firewood well-organized and dry

The highly durable HPL panels on the Bertilo wood storage are 6 mm thick, weather-resistant, colour-stable, and easy to clean. Due to the wood fibre content of over 70 per cent from sustainable forestry, HPL panels are considered environmentally friendly wood products and are FSC certified. The elegant panels are not affected by moisture and are not susceptible to weathering, mould, or rot. Finally, the UV resistance and colour stability comply with the highest score classifications: colours will not change significantly for at least ten years, even under the most severe climatic conditions. The pore-free surface structure of the panels ensures that almost no dirt can accumulate. Clean the wood storage with water and a little household cleaner if necessary.

Here are a few expert tips for your Bertilo wood storage

We recommend you place your Bertilo wood storage on a firm, level surface such as concrete, flagstones, paving slabs, or similar. As the wood storage has a wooden base, ensure that water does not assemble under it, as it can damage the wooden base over time. Furthermore, we recommend treating the frame – especially the bottom part – with a breathable wood preservative before or after assembly! Wood is a natural material, and weather conditions will affect it. In warm and dry weather, the material will lose some internal moisture, causing an inevitable shrinkage of the frame.

On the other hand, a lot of rain and moisture will cause the wooden frame of the wood storage to swell. This process is unavoidable but not a problem. You can see all our elegant and sturdy wood storage solutions here: https://www.dancovershop.com/uk/search.aspx?searchstr=wood+storage
